Saxon family
A shoot in October 2020, with friends from Haestingas in the beautiful Sussex countryside. Here they are portraying a fairly high status 10th century Saxon man with his daughter, and with lower status clothes their servant, who is weaving a basket from grass.
Haestingas are a branch of Regia Anglorum covering the Sussex area, while Regia Anglorum are an international living history society portraying Saxons, Vikings and Normans in Britain between the 8th and 11th century, with members in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US.
